Jaimie L. GradusDr. Jaimie L. Gradus is an Epidemiologist at the Women's Health Sciences Division of the National Center for PTSD, and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Epidemiology at Boston University School of Medicine and School of Public Health.

She attended Boston University School of Public Health, where she obtained her M.P.H. with a concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics and then her DSc in epidemiology. Dr. Gradus's interests are in the associations between trauma, PTSD, suicidal behavior, and completed suicide.

She is also the winner of the 2009 Lilienfeld Prize from the Society for Epidemiologic Research for her paper on the association between PTSD and completed suicide.

Dr. Gradus is currently working on a national survey study to evaluate deployment experiences and post-deployment psychological symptomatology among Veterans who served in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
