Dr. Daniels has presented numerous times at the International Society of Traumatic Stress Studies annual meetings about the treatment of war Veterans with PTSD and treatment of trauma-based nightmares. She currently is the Sexual Trauma Counselor at the Portland, OR Vet Center and a Consultant with the National Center for PTSD at the Pacific Islands Division. Dr. Daniels is also the Co-Chair of the Stress, Violence, and Trauma: Promoting Community Resilience conference (held once a year in Honolulu). Dr. Lori Daniels has worked with Veterans diagnosed with PTSD since 1989. She worked for several years within residential and outpatient PTSD treatment programs at the American Lake VAMC, Tacoma, WA; and is the former Team Leader of the VA outpatient PTSD treatment program in Honolulu.
