Police Officer Toolkit

Training Modules

The core content included in this toolkit is available via slides and a training manual with notes provided for each slide. For many slides, notes on rationale and tips have been provided by a multidisciplinary team representing government, community Veteran non-profit, academic, and police agencies throughout the Northern California region. This training was created to address the training needs of police officers who wanted to learn more about PTSD among Veterans. Loosely modeled after the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training, the training was created in such a way that it could be standardized and provided in a cost-effective manner to all police officers.
