PTSD Provider Service Delivery Assessment
Do you feel comfortable and confident talking about PTSD and treatment options?
Have you developed a process to educate and refer patients to first-line trauma-focused psychotherapies?
Are patient education materials available to visitors to your clinic?
Have you identified stigma or misconceptions about PTSD in yourself or clinic staff?

PTSD Care Assessment & Improvement Tool is an evaluation for PTSD care providers. It examines clinical practice, assessment, access and engagement in PTSD services. Providers and care teams can identify areas of strength and growth in their practice at the individual, team or health care system level. This tool is appropriate for VA and community providers, with items specific to VA noted as such.

The tool can serve as an individual self-assessment or as a workgroup meeting agenda. For areas of improvement, there are tips and links to useful resources.
