Sexual Harassment Scale

Scale in the Deployment Risk and Resilience Inventory-2
DRRI-2 Section: K-2 (Items 9 - 16)
Survey Label: "Relationships during Deployment"

Description

Exposure to unwanted sexual contact or verbal conduct of a sexual nature from other unit members, commanding officers, or civilians during deployment that contribute to a hostile working environment.

Sample Items

  • While I was deployed, someone I worked with made crude and offensive sexual remarks directed at me, either publicly or privately.
  • While I was deployed, someone I worked with used a position of authority to pressure me into unwanted sexual activity.
  • While I was deployed, someone I worked with touched me in a sexual way against my will.

Response Format

5-point Likert (1 = Never; 5 = Many times)
