Military sexual trauma is a recent area of research and clinical importance. This online course defines sexual harassment and assault and provides prevalence rates for these events in the military. Effects on mental health, approaches to treatment, and common themes of treatment are presented.

The author discusses unique issues for victims in the military, both women and men. The course provides information that may be applicable to non-military sexual trauma as well.
