Strength at Home is a trauma-informed group program for those who struggle with conflict and anger in relationships and may be at risk for intimate partner violence. If you are enrolled in a weekly Strength at Home group, this mobile app will help you manage your sessions, handouts, and assignments; give you tools to help relax; and track your progress.

Features include:

  • Coping tools to help you cool down and manage your emotions
  • Trackers for anger and conflict behaviors
  • Access crisis support resources, like the Veterans Crisis Line

Any data created by the user of this app are only as secure as the phone/device itself. Use the security features on your device if you are concerned about the privacy of your information. Users are free to share data; as the self-monitoring data belong to each user, HIPAA concerns do not apply while the data are stored or shared. If the user were to transmit or share data with a health care provider, the provider must then comply with the HIPAA rules.

Strength at Home was made by the mobile mental health team of the National Center for PTSD, Dissemination & Training Division, in collaboration with VA’s Strength at Home program.
