Treatment Companion Apps
- CPT Coach
A mobile app to be used by patients and their mental health provider during Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). CPT Coach is not a self-help tool.
- PE Coach
A mobile app to be used during Prolonged Exposure (PE) therapy between a mental health professional and patient. It may help with adherence to the PE treatment manual.
- PFA Mobile
Following disasters or emergencies, the PFA Mobile app can assist responders who provide Psychological First Aid (PFA) to adults, families, and children.

- ACT Coach
A treatment companion app for use while in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT aims to help you live with unpleasant thoughts and feelings without avoiding them or being controlled by them. Free from: iTunes (iOS).
- CBT-i Coach
A free mobile app to be used during Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i) between a mental health professional and patient. CBT-i Coach is a supplement to enhance treatment and help patients adjust and maintain sleep routines and their approach to sleep.
- Stay Quit Coach
A mobile app designed to assist smoking cessation. Although proposed as a relapse prevention tool, it can be used as a standalone intervention. Stay Quit Coach allows users to manage self-care and relapse through education, resources, and support. Free from: iTunes (iOS) and Google Play (Android) .
- Anger and Irritability Management Skills (AIMS)
A mobile app designed to improve coping with anger problems. AIMS was designed for Veterans and Servicemembers but can be used by anyone. The AIMS app may be used alone or in combination with the online course it is based upon or with in-person therapy. Free from: iTunes (iOS) and Google Play (Android) .
- STAIR Coach
A mobile app designed to supplement in-person psychotherapy using Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR). STAIR is an evidence-based psychotherapy that uses cognitive and behavioral techniques to help with managing emotions and relationships. The app includes in-depth psychoeducation, interactive tools for emotion and behavior management, customizable reminders and quick links to support. Free from: iTunes (iOS) .
