AboutFace features the real stories of Veterans who have experienced PTSD, their family members, and VA clinicians. By watching the videos on AboutFace, you can learn about PTSD, explore treatment options, and get advice from others who have been there.
AboutFace is produced by the VA’s National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, the world’s leading center for PTSD research and education. The Veterans, clinicians, and family members on the site have volunteered their stories and expertise. All interviews are unscripted, and represent the thoughts and opinions of the people who are speaking.
How can I share AboutFace with others?
If you’re looking for a way to explain PTSD or introduce someone to AboutFace, the Interview Highlights are a great place to start. Each Highlight video gives a quick sense of Veterans’ answers to a common question like “How did you know you had PTSD?” or “What is treatment like?” You can share them through email or social media, or by downloading them. You can also share any video by selecting the Facebook, Twitter, or email buttons in the lower left corner of the video window.
