Overview Video

Any provider who treats Veterans with PTSD can ask a question or request consultation about PTSD-related issues. Watch our overview video to learn more.

How does the PTSD Consultation Program work?

We are available to discuss your questions over email or phone, at your convenience. We will put you in touch with the consultant who can best answer your questions. Consultation is consistent with the VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guidelines for PTSD. As needed, we will check the research literature and reach out to other experts for information.

Where can I get an answer to a question about PTSD quickly?

We can answer most questions via email or with a phone call that lasts a half hour or less. We will work with your schedule to talk at your convenience. If you need in-depth information but do not have time to do the research yourself, we can help.

How does the Program help providers who don't treat PTSD?

Providers who work with Veterans often come across questions about PTSD, even if they do not treat PTSD directly. We are here to help with any PTSD-related questions.

How do I stay current on new information about PTSD?

New research and information about PTSD comes out frequently. It's our job to keep current. We can share this information with you.
