Biography

Michelle Bovin, PhD is a psychologist at the Behavioral Sciences Division, National Center for PTSD, VA Boston Healthcare System, Boston, MA, and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Bovin received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Temple University in 2011.

Dr. Bovin's research interests include developing and evaluating effective assessment tools for PTSD, and access to care for Veterans with PTSD and other trauma-related conditions. She is an expert in the Clinician Administered PTSD Scale for DSM-5 (CAPS-5), and has trained numerous researchers, clinicians, and trainees all over the world. Currently, her research is funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
