Biography

Nancy Bernardy, PhD, is a clinical research psychologist as an affiliate at the Executive Division of the National Center for PTSD.

She received her PhD in biological psychology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1995 and then respecialized in clinical psychology at Yale University in 1997.

Dr. Bernardy has been funded by the VA Office of Rural Health for almost a decade and her work has focused on improvement of the quality of treatment of Veterans with PTSD in VA through appropriate prescribing of medications and access to evidence-based psychotherapies.
