Sheila Rauch, PhD

This course refers to information published in the 2010 VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guideline for PTSD. Although a new course based upon the 2017 revision of the Guideline will be created in the future, this course remains on our website because it continues to provide relevant and useful facts about PTSD treatment.

This presentation describes the clinical application of Prolonged Exposure (PE) and provides a thorough review of research supporting its use for PTSD.

The author also reviews the 2010 VA/DoD Guideline recommendation for the use of PE with patients who have PTSD.
