American Psychological Association

The American Psychological Association (APA) offers self-care resources to promote wellness and help prevent provider distress among psychologists.

International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies

The International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) offers self-help resources for its members, professionals who work with trauma survivors.

Real Warriors

The Real Warriors campaign is part of the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) effort to encourage military personnel and their families to seek appropriate care and support for psychological health concerns. The website includes professional development resources to help providers build resilience.

Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration

The Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) offers a number of free, downloadable publications about compassion fatigue, burnout, STS, and tips for preventing and managing stress.
