Rural Provider PTSD Toolkit
The PTSD Treatment Decision Aid is a useful resource to help people with PTSD compare and choose an effective treatment that matches their preferences and beliefs. It can be used in clinic or can be "prescribed" as homework to a patient to use before a follow-up appointment.
About Face is a resource that features videos of Veterans, family members, and clinicians sharing their experience with PTSD and PTSD treatment.
PTSD Whiteboard Videos make learning about PTSD and treatment options during or after clinic visits quick and easy.
Provides key tools and resources for working with Veterans for community providers. This includes easy to access information about how to screen for military experience, understanding military culture, referring to VA, as well as tools for working with a variety of behavioral health concerns. The toolkit includes a Technology in Care mini-clinic focused on apps and self-management programs relevant to behavioral health and wellness.
Includes free courses for providers about the treatment and course of post-trauma reactions and PTSD.
On the third Wednesday of each month, the PTSD Consultation Program hosts a webinar on a topic relevant to treating PTSD. Monthly lectures offer 1 hour of accreditation for those who pre-register and participate in live talks.
Provides trainings for military and civilian behavioral health professionals to provide high-quality, culturally sensitive, evidence-based behavioral health services to military personnel, Veterans and their families.
